For draped sleeves, ruffles and soft overlays, prioritise fluidity, breathability, transparency, texture, print compatibility and seam handling. The final fibre choice needs a sample review, not a generic marketing label.
Chiffon compared with georgette
Both can be light and translucent, but their yarn twist, weave, texture and drape may differ. Request side-by-side physical swatches and confirm whether the buyer needs stretch in the weft, warp or both directions.

Is stretch chiffon the same as stretch lace or stretch satin?
No. Lace, satin and chiffon describe different fabric structures or surfaces. A stretch lace or satin cannot be relabelled as chiffon just because both contain elastane.
